A convertible crib is a baby bed measuring 70 x 140 cm. This bed is slightly larger than a standard crib, but can therefore be used much longer, up to about 5 years old. Because the crib is durable, it's a very sustainable choice.

A convertible crib is a sustainable choice
A convertible crib is very durable because it lasts much longer than a regular crib. Most cribs can be used up to 2.5 years of age, but the convertible crib can even be used up to 5 years of age! The convertible crib is therefore slightly larger than a regular crib, measuring 70 x 140 cm instead of 60 x 120 cm.
For the first few years, you use the convertible crib as a regular crib. The bed has an adjustable base and can be set at the highest position initially. This allows you to easily reach your child without having to bend over. Once your child can pull themselves up, you can lower the base to prevent them from climbing out. Once your child is old enough to climb in and out of the bed on their own, you can convert it into a toddler bed. You do this by removing one side of the slats. This way, you can enjoy the bed for a few more years!
A convertible crib for every style
Convertible cribs are available in many different colors and styles. Do you prefer neutral colors and furniture? Choose a neutral crib. The advantage of a neutral baby bed is that it fits into any room, can be combined with many different colors, and is suitable for both boys and girls.

Wrap a mattress protector around the mattress to keep it well-protected. Then, put a fitted sheet over this. Finish with a crib sheet and a crib blanket. First, lay down the sheet, then the blanket, and then fold back the sheet a bit to create a nice edge. This instantly makes the crib look very cozy! When your child is a little older and you're using the crib as a toddler bed, you can opt for a sleeping bag or a duvet.
