Using a mattress protector in your crib
A mattress protector in your crib protects the mattress from moisture, dirt, and wear and tear. This maintains the quality of the mattress, allowing your child to sleep safely and comfortably. Step 1: Protect your mattress cover with a mattress protector with studs
It's important to turn your mattress regularly. This helps maintain its shape, allowing your child to sleep safely and comfortably. Most slatted bed bases are made of wood. To prevent wood splinters from damaging the mattress, we recommend choosing a mattress protector with studs. This is placed between the slatted bed base and the mattress.
Step 2: Choosing a mattress topper?
When using a mattress topper, a bed sheet and a mattress protector are unnecessary. These are already incorporated into the topper. If you're using a mattress without a topper, use a bed sheet and a mattress protector fitted sheet over the mattress to absorb moisture. Then place a fitted sheet over that.
What is a mattress protector for a crib?
A mattress protector looks similar to a fitted sheet. It's made of thick cotton and absorbs moisture. You use a mattress protector in a crib along with a bed sheet. You place a fitted sheet over the mattress protector, and then make the bed with a sheet and blanket.
