Installing a car seat in the car
There are several ways to install a car seat in the car. A car seat can be installed using Isofix or the car's 3-point seat belt. Isofix is a system that allows a car seat to be installed safely and easily in the car, without using a seat belt. The Isofix is located between the backrest and the seat. There are two attachment point here, and the hooks of the Isofix car seat or base can be clicked into these. This ensures that the seat is always securely fastened.
Some car seats have integrated Isofix, while others require a separate Isofix base. This base is attached to the car and can be left in place at all times. Simply click the car seat onto the base when you want to place it in the car, and you can also easily unclick it from the base. If you want to install a baby car seat with Isofix, a base is always required.
