A pushchair can be used from birth to approximately three years of age. A pushchair set consists of a chassis with wheels, a carrycot, and a pushchair insert. From birth, you use the carrycot until approximately six months of age. Once your child can sit independently, you can switch from the carrycot to the pushchair insert. A group 0 car seat can be used from birth up to a weight of 13 kg. This car seat can be attached to the pushchair frame with the included adapters. An ideal solution if you often go out with your child in the car. If you're quickly running errands or visiting family or friends, you simply have to place the car seat on the pushchair without having to lift your child into the carrycot. This way, your little one can stay comfortably in place, saving you the hassle of lugging it around!

A duo or twin pushchair is ideal if you have two children. A duo pushchair is suitable for two children of different ages, while a twin pushchair can be used for twins. A duo pushchair can accommodate a carrycot and a seat unit. This allows for a child aged 0 to 6 months and a child who can already sit independently. Ideal if you have two children with a similar age gap. A twin pushchair can accommodate two carrycots or two seats, allowing for two children of the same age. A duo pushchair can usually also be used as a twin pushchair; in that case, the pushchair simply needs to be expanded with an additional carrycot or an additional pushchair insert. In a duo or twin pushchair, your children can lie or sit next to each other or one behind the other; this varies depending on the pushchair.

Tip 1: Choose a pushchair that suits you

Think carefully about what you value in a pushchair and what requirements it should meet. Also, consider your lifestyle. Do you live in the city? Then choose a compact pushchair that you can easily maneuver through narrow streets and that also rides comfortably over bumpy cobblestones. Do you often take your little one for walks? Then choose an all-terrain pushchair with good suspension for a comfortable ride!

Tip 2: Practice folding the pushchair

It's essential that the pushchair you choose folds easily! Once you've chosen a pushchair, practice folding and unfolding it a few times to make sure it's easy. It's also important to consider the folded size. If you plan to take it with you in the car, it's important that it fits in the trunk. Most pushchairs fold into a very compact package that can stand upright on its own. Ideal for storage! 

Tip 3: A height-adjustable handlebar

If you and your partner are very different in height, it's helpful to choose a pushchair with an adjustable handlebar. This ensures the pushchair is always the right height for everyone, allowing you both to walk comfortably with your child.

A footmuff is a great addition to the pushchair seat, keeping your child nice and warm and protected from the cold. Separate car seat adapters are also often available. This allows you to attach a group 0 car seat to the pushchair frame.
