Reliable safety and sturdiness
The Bebies First retractable stair gate can be mounted at the bottom of a staircase or in a doorway to ensure that your child cannot simply go up the stairs or into another room.
Note: The retractable stair gate must not be mounted at the top of a staircase for safety reasons.
Installation of the retractable stair gate
The retractable stair gate is not clamped but securely attached with screws that are drilled into the wall. It is therefore not suitable for placement without drilling.
With the included grip hooks and mounting rings, the stair gate can be attached in various locations. Ensure that the stair gate fits between the stairs. The height of the cassette of the stair gate is 85 cm.
Attach the grip hooks to the opposite side of the cassette to close the gate. The cassette of the stair gate and the grip hooks are fixed to the wall with screws.
Compatibility with stairs and door openings
The stair gate can be attached to virtually any staircase or doorway. The stair gate can be rolled out to a maximum length of 100 cm.
The height of the stair gate is 85 cm. Make sure that the place where you want to mount the stair gate is high enough so that both the cassette on one side and the grip hooks on the other side of the opening can be attached.

With the retractable mesh, you can effortlessly open and close the stair gate with one hand. When the stair gate is not in use, it automatically rolls up completely. So you never have to deal with a wooden or metal door getting in the way!
Child-safe locking mechanism
