The bed base of the grow with me crib can be adjusted to 3 heights. In the initial period after birth, the crib can be set to the highest position. This makes it easy to reach your child without bending down too much. Once your child can sit independently and pull themselves up, you lower the bed base a bit, so your child cannot simply step out of the crib. When your child is old enough to get in and out of bed by themselves, the bed base can be placed at the lowest position and one side of the slats can be removed.
