The rear-facing car seat is suitable from birth up to about 4 years old and a maximum weight of 18 kg. The car seat has five reclining positions, both rear-facing and forward-facing. The car seat can also rotate lying on its base. With just one hand, you can position the car seat in a comfortable reclining position. 

The Sirona T i-Size offers better protection against accidents, reduces the risk of head or neck injuries, and improves safety by 50% (compared to the same forward-facing seat; results of tests following the ADAC criteria of 2022). In an accident, your child is pushed towards the outside of the seat, where the forces are distributed and absorbed after the shock. The Linear Side Impact Protection (LSP) system increases safety in a side impact. Together with the energy-absorbing exterior of the car seat, the LSP reduces the initial impact force by up to 25%. The car seat must be placed rear-facing for at least 15 months (until your child reaches a height of 76 cm). After this period, the car seat can be turned forward. Of course, you can also choose to continue using the car seat rear-facing for optimal safety. 

The Cybex Sirona T i-Size is secured in the car on the Cybex Base T. This Isofix base is sold separately. On the base, the car seat is 360° rotatable. This allows the car seat to be easily placed forward or rearward in the car. Thanks to the 360° rotation, you can turn the car seat towards the car door with one hand, making it easy to place and remove your child from the car. With magnets, you can secure the straps to the sides of the car seat, so that they do not get in the way when placing your child in or out of the car seat. This makes getting in and out even easier! 

The Group 0/1 car seat grows with your child, thanks to the height-adjustable headrest. With 12 different positions of the headrest, you can adjust the car seat to the height of your child over the first four years, providing constant protection. The included insert for newborns ensures a nearly flat lying position, allowing your child to be safely seated in the car seat from birth. The insert keeps your baby's head in the ideal ergonomic position. Once your child grows taller than 60 cm, you need to remove the insert from the car seat. Your child can enjoy the highest comfort in the car seat with features such as ventilation all around, ensuring a pleasant temperature during every season.
