The rear-facing car seat is suitable from birth until around 4 years of age and a maximum weight of 18 kg. The car seat has five reclining positions, both rear-facing and forward-facing. The car seat can also rotate while lying on its base. With just one hand, you can put the car seat in a comfortable reclining position.

The Sirona T i-Size offers better protection against accidents, reduces the risk of head or neck injuries, and improves safety by 50% (compared to the same forward-facing seat; results of tests following the ADAC criteria of 2022). In the event of an accident, your child is pushed to the outside of the seat, where the forces are distributed and absorbed after the shock. The Linear Side Impact Protection (LSP) system increases safety in the event of a side collision. Together with the energy-absorbing exterior of the car seat, the LSP reduces the initial impact force by up to 25%. The car seat must be installed rear-facing for at least 15 months (until your child reaches a length of 76 cm). After this period, the car seat can be turned forward-facing. Of course, there is also the option to continue using the car seat rear-facing for optimal safety.

The Cybex Sirona T i-Size is secured in the car using the Cybex Base T. This Isofix base is sold separately. On the base, the car seat can rotate 360°. This allows you to easily install the car seat either forward or rear-facing in the car. Thanks to the 360° rotation, you can turn the car seat towards the car door with one hand, making it easy to place and remove your child from the car. With magnets, you can secure the seatbelts to the sides of the car seat, so they don’t get in the way when you are putting your child in or out of the car seat. This makes getting in and out even easier!

The car seat is equipped with an integrated UPF50+ sun canopy. This provides excellent protection against the sun for your child, even in the car. For warmer days, the sun canopy is equipped with a mesh insert for breathability and a cool airflow.

The group 0/1 car seat grows with your child, thanks to the adjustable headrest. With the 12 different positions of the headrest, you can adjust the car seat to the length of your child during the first four years, providing constant protection. The included insert for newborn babies ensures a nearly flat lying position, allowing your baby to sit safely in the car seat from birth. The insert keeps your baby's head in the ideal ergonomic position. When your child grows taller than 60 cm, you need to remove the insert from the car seat. Your child can enjoy maximum comfort in the car seat with features like ventilation all around that maintains a pleasant temperature throughout every season.
