The rear-facing car seat is suitable from birth until approximately 4 years of age and a maximum weight of 18 kg. The car seat has five reclining positions, both rear-facing and forward-facing. The car seat can also rotate in a lying position on its base. With just one hand, you can adjust the car seat to a comfortable lying position. 

The Sirona T i-Size offers better protection against accidents, reduces the risk of head or neck injuries, and enhances safety by 50% (compared to the same forward-facing seat; test results following the ADAC criteria of 2022). In the event of an accident, your child is pushed towards the outside of the seat, where the forces are distributed and absorbed after the impact. The Linear Side Impact Protection (LSP) system increases safety in a side collision. Together with the energy-absorbing exterior of the car seat, the LSP reduces the initial impact force by up to 25%. The car seat must be placed rear-facing for at least 15 months (until your child is 76 cm tall). After this period, the car seat can be rotated forward. Of course, there is also the option to continue using the car seat rear-facing for optimal safety. 

The Cybex Sirona T i-Size is secured in the car using the included Cybex Base T. On the base, the car seat is 360° rotatable. This means you can easily place the car seat either forward or rear-facing in the car. Thanks to the 360° rotation, you can turn the car seat towards the car door with one hand, allowing you to easily place your child in the car and take them out again. With magnets, you can secure the belts at the sides of the car seat, so they don't get in the way when you take your child in or out of the car seat. This ensures even easier access!

The car seat features an integrated UPF50+ sunshade. This provides excellent sun protection for your child, even in the car. For warmer days, the sunshade is equipped with a mesh insert for breathability and a cool airflow.

The group 0/1 car seat grows with your child, thanks to the height-adjustable headrest. With 12 different positions of the headrest, you can adjust the car seat to your child's height during the first four years and it provides constant protection. The included insert for newborns ensures a nearly flat reclining position, allowing your child to sit safely in the car seat from birth. The insert keeps your baby's head in the ideal ergonomic position. When your child grows taller than 60 cm, you must remove the insert from the car seat. Your child can enjoy the highest comfort in the car seat with features such as ventilation all around that provides a pleasant temperature throughout every season.
