The rear-facing car seat is suitable from the birth of your child up to approximately 4 years and a maximum weight of 18 kg. The car seat has five reclining positions, both rear-facing and forward-facing. The car seat can also rotate lying on its base. With just one hand, you can put the car seat into a comfortable reclining position.

The Sirona T i-Size offers better protection against accidents, reduces the risk of head or neck injury, and improves safety by 50% (compared to the same forward-facing seat; results from tests following ADAC criteria from 2022). In the event of an accident, your child is pushed towards the outside of the seat, where the forces are distributed and absorbed after the impact. The Linear Side Impact Protection (LSP) system increases safety in a side collision. Together with the energy-absorbing outer shell of the car seat, the LSP reduces the initial impact force by up to 25%. The car seat must be placed rear-facing for at least 15 months (until your child reaches a height of 76 cm). After this period, the car seat can be turned forward. Of course, it can also be chosen to continue using the car seat in a rear-facing position for optimal safety.

The Cybex Sirona T i-Size is secured in the car using the Cybex Base T. This Isofix base is available separately. On the base, the car seat is 360° rotatable. Thus, the car seat can be placed effortlessly forward-facing or rear-facing in the car. Thanks to the 360° rotation, you can turn the car seat with one hand towards the car door, making it easy to place your child in and take them out of the car. With magnets, the belts are secured to the sides of the car seat, so they do not get in the way when you are putting your child in or out of the car seat. This makes getting in even easier!

The car seat features a built-in UPF50+ sunshade. This provides excellent sun protection for your child, even in the car. For warmer days, the sunshade is equipped with a mesh insert for breathability and a cool airflow.

The Group 0/1 car seat grows with your child, thanks to the height-adjustable headrest. With 12 different positions of the headrest, you can adjust the car seat to the height of your child during the first four years and it provides constant protection. The included insert for newborn babies ensures a nearly flat lying position, allowing your child to sit safely in the car seat from birth. The insert keeps your baby's head in the ideal ergonomic position. When your child grows larger than 60 cm, you must remove the insert from the car seat.
